Most of us know that the President is elected every four years. But did you know that Congressional elections take place every two years, and local races happen every year? You have the power to choose a wide range of officials from senators, to state lawmakers, to judges, and city council members. Officials YOU ELECT decide how your city, state, and federal government spends your tax dollars, and who benefits from the programs they fund. Many local elections are decided by as little as five votes, sometimes even a single vote! You can use YOUR VOTE to make a big difference in your community.
